Assalamu'alaikum & Salam Sejahtera,
Apparently it is not easy to pen down your thoughts in writing. Especially when you know that it can be seen and read by all. I discover this only after I started this bloG of mine.
Having no limitation as what to write; anything under the sky as they say it, one may end up becoming delirious if not careful. So boundaries have to be set after all and these boundaries shall not transgress and trespass into the realm of sensitivities as provided under the laws of this country or our customs and most importantly our faith and religion. So other than that it's okay; meaning as long as we keep our heads up and mind over matter we shall not go astray. God willing.
When you are free to say anything you want, when you are your own captain who sets the limit of your own sail, it is not easy to not be tempted by an urge to spill your brains out or to pour your heart and mind out over matters that you think are important and needed to be addressed. This however, will certainly make your journey endless; and an endless journey will lead to nowhere.
So rules and boundaries have to be set and be adhered to. Having said this, I shall confine my writings and comments in my bloG to matters of upmost important especially to the society that I live in, as well as to matters that I think can contribute to the betterment of this society.
However first and foremost I must find passion and reason for this bloG.
I am passionate about my religion; that is the religion of Islam or most appropriately I should say my way of life... Keep the Faith; that is my motto.
And I am most passionate about the plight of my race; that is the Malay race; not so much of race per se or the fact that I was born into it but more so of the struggle of this race to stay united; despite being invaded and colonised over many years ever since the early years of this country and throughout the independence of this country. With so many shortcomings and disparity amongst its people in terms of wealth, social standing and even status and the growing influence of the western culture onto its younger generation, up till to date the Malay race has still managed to stay united; though not an easy strive; and their leaders have acknowledged and emphasised on the importance of staying united especially in trying times as now.
OK. Stopping short at being too philosophical or becoming delirious, I shall now state my reason for this bloG as follows: -
This blog is created to manifest the freedom of speech in Malaysia as enshrined in Article 10(1)(a) of its Federal Constitution.
This freedom is still alive and well, ... unless otherwise proven!
It is also to recognise the diversity of opinions in this multi lingual multi racial & multi religous society and also the differences of opinions. These differences makes a difference!
If used well it may certainly enrich our knowledge and enhance our capabilities in dealing with problems relating to our society; be it social economical or even a religious one! May God have mercy on all of us and continues to bless our country.
